TESTIMONIALS
Email Sent To Us 8/22/08 I just wanted you to know I have received my mouth guard and am now sleeping with it nightly! It feels so much better to lay down and not have to worry about what I may be doing to my teeth or that I am going to be a bother to my husband.
I just wanted to say thank you very much!  I absolutely love how it has the breathing holes.

I would like to leave a testimonal: I have had problems with clenching and grinding my teeth for over 10 years and have tried different mouth guards without success. I recently got another mouth guard professionally made by my dentist and paid $400, he made adjustments to the mouthguard with a spacer on the front for clenching. It was a waste of money, the spacer didn't keep me from clenching my teeth and I was waking up with muscle soreness, now I am on muscle relaxants. I was clenching my teeth so hard that I actually left imprints in the mouth guard and bent it because the material was not hard enough for a tmj problem. So, I want on an internet search because I didn't want to spend another $400 or more going to an orthodontist to  have a tmj device made. I found Dr. Brux, and decided to try it since there is a 21 money back guarantee, what did I have to lose? I tried fitting the mouth piece and it didn't fit well, so I redid it as the instructions said and the second fit was perfect. Thats the great thing about this product, you can refit it! I have used it for the last 2 nights and it is awesome. It is so worth the money. It fits great, its not cumbersome at all, the little holes in the front of the mouth guard help with breathing and keep the salvia from buiding up like other mouth guards. I am waking up with no muscle soreness and with a good night sleep. I would recommend this to everyone, especially if you have tmj and/or muscle soreness. Thank you for such a wonderful product.

Just wanted to say thanks. I received my night guard yesterday. It was super easy to fit and those 3 holes make all the difference. I've worn another brand for several years but I still have problems with clenching while I sleep. Today is the first in a long time that my face doesn't hurt. I'll be sure to recommend this product to all my stressed out friends. I've already told 2 of them this morning! Thanks! Susan A.

Email Sent To Us 11/18/08 -TESTIMONIALS: Better than Professionals! Over the past ten years, I have had two professionally made and custom fitted night guards that cost $300 - $400 each. This guard blows them both away!

The first thing I noticed is it's small. Small is very good. By small, I mean efficient use  of product. The less bulk you have in your mouth all night, the more natural you feel. This is perfect.

I proceeded to the "cold fit" and noticed right away how comfortable it was. The web sight describes "two programmed degrees of hardness".  The part that comes in contact with your upper teeth and gums is soft and comfortable. The two I had in the past were hard, real hard and not flexible or remoldable. This is important. If I didn't wear the $400 guard for a week and put it back in, it would move my teeth back to where it wanted them to be. Remember the pain of braces?

The bottom surface that your teeth try to grind against is hard, large and flat. Hard so your teeth don't chew right through it. Instead they slide on the surface is you try to grind. Large, to the point, of as you try to grind; your lower jaw won't come off of that surface and grab on to sides to grind and flat also meaning there is no unfinished surface for you to grind against. My last $400 guard had a small hairline ridge right behind my front teeth. I would cock my jaw to lock onto this ridge to grind. The grinding was magnified by the displacement of my jaw. I took it back and showed the Doctor the small ridge, he thought I was crazy. These are all important attributes to a successful night guard. Dr. Brux has hit a home run with this one.

I was leery of a $50.00 product after two bad experiences with $300 - $400 products. I didn't want to put in the effort of at least three doctor appointments ( the mold, the fitting, the final fitting and pick-up), plus another 400 dollars, just to be disappointed again. So, I thought, what the heck, it can't be worse than my past experiences.

The Dr Brux night guard is far and away the best product I have used at any price level. I would highly recommend this product for first time users of night guards or for people, like me, that have been disappointed in the past.

Thank you so much!

Quote From Smoker "I quit smoking over six months ago, after trying gum, lozenges, nicotine nasal spray (clinical trial), group therapy, and cold turkey. Finally, my doctor suggested hypnotherapy. I went to someone (a PhD) at the local University hospital - not some sideshow performer. After the first session, I was down to 2 cigarettes a day. After the second session, I quit completely. I had one more session for a follow-up. I haven’t had a cigarette since. I’ve been in bars. I’ve been in Vegas. I’ve been in a lot of smoking situations. I’ve never wanted one. Maybe my great success is the exception, but it’s worth a try. I smoked for over 25 years, folks. 25 years. And one more thing - the oral substitution thing? I have a night guard I use at night so I don’t grind my teeth. I used that as my substitute. No calories! When I wanted a cigarette during those first couple of weeks, I just popped the guard into my mouth and sucked on it."
Email sent to us 7/31/08 at 12:15am Hello,
I just received my night guard yesterday and used it for the first time last night. I was so impressed that I decided to write my very first testimonial (see attached Word doc). Sorry it's so long but I had a lot to say. =)
Thank you for making such a great product.
Sincerely,
Tanya V
I’ve been searching for a good night guard for ages. Originally my dentist said I needed one and had one custom made for me. It cost me $400 since my insurance didn’t cover it. It worked okay for a little while until I stopped wearing it for a month. Well my teeth must have shifted in that time because it was really tight and hurt my teeth. That was the end of that night guard since it couldn’t be refitted.
Next I found one at the grocery store (Dental Concepts Night Guard) and it cost around $25. It worked okay. It was the kind that you mold to your teeth and it was a soft rubber. It was also really bulky and unattractive and for some reason I had a tendency to bite down hard on it when I was going to sleep. It also made me salivate a lot and I couldn’t really breathe through my mouth. But it was better than the one I got from the dentist and way less expensive. When I needed to replace that one I purchased the exact same thing but I think they must have redesigned it because it was even bulkier than before. I couldn’t use it at all because the excess rubber in the back was making me gag. That was the end of that one.
Next I purchased one online (Stressgard) for $10. I didn’t want to spend too much money so I was looking for one that was cheap in case I had to throw it away as well. Guess what, I threw it away after the first night. It was loose in my mouth and kept poking into my gums. It lasted about one hour before I couldn’t stand it anymore and took it out.
I gave up for a while and then decide to go back to the one I purchased at the grocery store. Maybe it would be better this time. Well, my grocery store didn’t carry it anymore so I went online to see if I could find it. That’s when I found Dr. Brux. Amazon carried it but it was $49 and I didn’t want to spend that much for something that would most likely fail me. The seller on Amazon didn’t have a return policy so I decided to see if I could by it direct. That’s when I found drbruxusa.com and they had a 21 day money back guarantee. They also had free shipping so what did I have to lose. So I did it. I spent $49 on a night guard. I received it two days ago and have spent one glorious night with it. Let me just tell you. It is PERFECT! It fits like a glove (just follow the instruction exactly). My jaw rests comfortably when I wear it (the last one I had made my jaw unnatural feeling). I can actually breathe through my mouth when I sleep and I don’t salivate much at all. Other night guards suggest you wear them for a couple hours to get used to it. You are used to the Dr. Brux night guard instantly. Also, it’s not really bulky at all. I love, love, love this thing. I’m going to tell my brother about it since he’s been having the same trouble as me.
So that’s my story. I wanted to share it with everyone because I’m sure there are people as frustrated at I was and I hope this helps. Thank you Dr. Brux for making this product available to everyone. You have a customer for life!

Sincerely,
Tanya V.

Thank you so much for shipping as soon as you did. Much to my suprise, I received the next day.

I honestly was expecting the bulky, not very effective type I've bought before. Within a few days I received relief from nagging headaches and a definite decline in neck pain.

Thanks again,

Rose Warren

Great mouth guard

I have gone through many mouth guards and this one is by far the best. It really custom fits to your mouth and you can always reshape it if you need to. Worth every penny!

It Works...

I purchased this item in May because I had wore my teeth down to nothing through night time grinding. It could be custom fitted to my mouth (while cheaper mouth guards just came in a standard size). It arrived fast, and performing the mold process is quick and easy: just heat water to a boil, attach the mouthpiece to the plastic part that it comes with, dip the mouthpiece in the boiling water for a few seconds, shake excess water off, put in mouth (it will be warm, but not scolding hot), bit down gently to get a custom mold of your teeth (this might take a few tries to get a perfect one) and rinse the mouthguard under cold water. The first couple nights of use took a little getting use to (sleeping with something foreign in your mouth- especially if you have never used a nightguard before.), but it did not interfere with my breathing, or wake me up from a sound sleep (just a little excess saliva, that's all). Just wash it under cold water the very next morning. Four months later, it has held up well and still doesn't interfere with my sleep. Yes, it's expensive and if your dental insurance covers the cost of one, go for it! My insurance didn't, so I bought it here; and I am not disappointed. I highly recommend the Dr. Brux Nightguard for people with Bruxism.
